Ars vitae: Odysseus, Dante a Komenský (1/X/2013)

Autor: Miloš Bednář

Abstract: Ars vitae: Ulysses, Dante and Comenius. – Using three crucial works of world literature, the paper maps out cardinal parameters of journeys through life and accentuates their spiritual and/or ethical context. In the first part we follow Ulysses returning home. We think of stops on his devious journey as an opportunity for personal maturing during which the forming of the cardinal virtues and eliminating of the vices are accomplished. The journey of Dante, the main personage of “Divine Comedy”, shows exceptional range of man as a multicomponent being: from the bodily anchorage through the struggle between virtues and sins up to spiritual ascents at the Paradise. We consider the word “labyrinth” to be one of keywords for the life pilgrim – Comenius. We analyse his well-known The Labyrinth of the World and The Paradise of the Heart as well as less known work Unum Necessarium, where Comenius presents the different approach to a labyrinth. He internalized “the labyrinth of the world” into “the labyrinth of the mind”. At the conclusion we try to find simultaneous traits of all analysed sources and to concentrate them to some keynotes.

Keywords: ars vitae, virtues and vices, Comenius, labyrinth, zenith and nadir experience

Klíčová slova: ars vitae, ctnosti a neřesti, Komenský, labyrint, prožitky zenitu a nadiru

Hermeneutický způsob enthusiastické zkušenosti v básnické řeči (2/X/2013)

Autor: Andrea Fleischerová

Abstract: Hermeneutical Method of Enthusiastic Experience in the Way of Poetic Speaking. – This article analyzes the issue of enthusiasm and hermeneutics in the context of thinking of the Ancient and Classical Greece. In a theoretical manner also tries to gain an insight into the semantical structure of enthusiasm and hermeneutics, basing on historical excursus (the Ancient Age, the Classical Age) to support its historical transformation. It was enthusiasmos and the way of hermeneutical explanation, which enabled the poets to create pieces of art and gave rise to performing and poetry art. The pressuposition of God’s presence in the spiritual experience of enthusiasm made it possible to uplift imagination towards an image of something majestically godlike and therefore truthful. Also the hermeneutical reflection of the world performed by an enthusiastic poet provided the philosopher of the Classical Age with mythical notion of the world order in the best way.

„Zčásti jinotajně, zčásti zjevně.“ Alegorie jako didaktický nástroj v Komenského Labyrintu (3/X/2013)

Autor: Jan Hábl

Abstract: “Partly Allegorically, Partly Evidently”. Allegory as a Didactic Instrument in Comenius’ Labyrinth. – The intention of this study is to explore the potential of the allegorical literary method from the didactic perspective. Since J. A. Comenius managed to produce in his famous work Labyrinth of the world and paradise of the heart such an effective pedagogical work, the question is, in what lays its “magic”, resp. its didactic effectiveness? How did Comenius work with allegory as didactic tool? Can anything of his “method” be transferred to the contemporary education? May allegory be used in today’s pedagogical practice? The goal of this article is to outline answers to these questions.

Myšlenky o dnešku (4/X/2013)

Autor: Anna Hogenová

Abstract: Thoughts about Today. – The text introduces a critique of Cartesian knowledge and brings reflection of the role of whole without margo in today’s world. It describes predestination of our lives due to systems that we hadn’t created, we don’t wish to accept, and we hadn’t chosen. These systems have almost hundred percent control over us. There is very little left four our authentic life. Basically we are as puppets controlled by objective systems that are always by someone scientifically (marketing) created and than brought to life via lawful means. These systems should be created by people who have the ability to bring into each situation whole without margo.

Karteziánské neurózy a Bytí v daseinsanalýze (1/X/2013)

Autor: Tereza Králíčková

Abstract: Cartesian Neurosis and Being in Daseinsanalysis. – In this paper the author shares some of the experiences that she made during her daseinsanalysis work with neurotic patients. She specifically observes the distinctive way of being of some of her neurotic patients which she labels as Cartesian neurosis. She analyses their way of understanding and experiencing of the world, which she characterizes as Cartesian subject-objective tuning. It is an urging need to find evident certainties and to reach a state of perfection, which should lead to a reduction of their ever-growing anxiety. The author contemplates the possible causes of these Cartesian neuroses and presents casuistries with which she manifests how the way we understand the world predetermines the actual living content of our lives. Through a description of a therapeutic process she emphasizes the significance of the reserved approach on the side of the patient as well as of the therapist, who prevents the events of appropriation in the Das Er-eignis sense. She examines the root of Heidegger’s philosophy – the question of Being, in a Daseinsanalysis process with these patients.

Axiologické konštanty poetickej tvorby Milana Rúfusa (4/X/2013)

Autor: Lenka Melicherová

Abstract: Axiological Constants of Milan Rufus’ Poetic Creation. – Since the mid-twentieth century, Milan Rufus has been part of the most important poets of the Slovak literature. The author understands the full-valuable existence of a literary work as conditioned by a constant intermingling of the aesthetic and ethical moments. In the work of this poet, there are several constants, which are inter alia characterized by the fact that they are based on the spiritual heritage of the Slovak culture and literature. Author looks on the society through Axiology, where home, family and God are dominant. In his poetry, home representing values are extended even to the political and national values, which are displayed with the term of homeland and the term of patriotism. For Milan Rufus the family as the most intimate community does not only represent the starting point, but also the aim of all human effort. The work of this poet is full of sensitive messages, prayers and thanksgiving, which is particularly reflected in the spiritual richness and integrity of his poems.

Dvojznačnosť slobody a problém úniku zo slobody u Ericha
Fromma (1/X/2013)

Autor: Monika Zimovčáková

Abstract: Ambiguousness of Freedom and the Problem of Escape from Freedom in Erich Fromm’s work. – This paper analyses the meaning of the freedom of a modern man, which is crucial for the present cultural and social crisis. His study of the character structure of the contemporary man comes from understanding of psychological and socio-psychological factors, which are the result of a wide-range research in the fields of psychology and sociology. We assume that human nature is not just a complex of inborn instincts but it is the result of cultural schemes man adapts to during his life – it is the product of human evolution. In his research, Fromm looked into the process of human creation throughout history and he studied why and under what circumstances it comes to the changes of human character during particular historical epochs.

Keywords: freedom to, freedom from, authoritarianism, destructivity, conformity, self-realisation

Klíčová slova: sloboda k, sloboda od, autoritárstvo, deštruktivita, konformita, sebarealizácia

Produktívna charakterová orientácia k svetu podľa Ericha Fromma – schopnosť konať a chápať (2/X/2013)

Autor: Monika Zimovčáková

Abstract: Productive Character Orientation to the World by Erich Fromm – the Ability to Do and Understand. – The starting point of the concept of Erich Fromm is the understanding of a man being an unique natural being, whose meaning of life is taking action and conducting oneself in the process of self-creation and productive activity. This men’s activity is focused on the retrieval of the unity with the nature, people and the world. A man with a character orientation, different kinds of temperaments and talents under the influence of social and cultural development provides countless variations of personality. In his research, Fromm has shown what is the constant and what is the variable part of human nature, what is the relationship between the nature of human personality and dynamism which arises from the history and evolution of civilization, work, creativity and individuality of a man.
